The practice

Experienced, qualified, and personally involved

Learnability is run by Rowena Edington who is a highly experienced dyslexia assessor and teacher and has been working in the field of dyslexia and special educational needs since 2006. During this time, she has also worked as a school SENCo, where she was able to integrate her practical knowledge of special educational needs with the classroom environment and the national curriculum, and which she continues to use in her current teaching and assessments.

Rowena assesses and teaches children and young people across all Key Stages. She is a PATOSS registered assessor, holds a current Assessment Practising Certificate (APC), is regulated by SASC and is DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked and fully insured. Rowena works from her London office, however, school visits can also be organised to carry out assessments, teaching and training.

Rowena is passionate about early identification of Dyslexia and helping pupils to build confidence and realise their potential.

  • Dip. RSA (SpLD) - specialist teaching qualification.
